Boxed Art Project
The Boxed Art Project is a community art project developed to support emerging artists and community groups make their mark on their community. It is part of a broader plan to install creativity in the development of the Canterbury City area. We welcome your ideas and inspirations and encourage you to be a part of this exciting artistic opportunity.
The project plan is to paint ALL the traffic signal boxes in the area and there are over 80 available. Traffic signal boxes are those grey blue boxes at every set of traffic lights. If you have never noticed them before, get ready to, as artists turn them into their own community art canvas.
