Save Power Kit - borrow from your local library today!
Find our what is chewing electricity in your home by borrowing a new Save Power Kit from one of Council's libraries.
The Save Power Kit provides tools, information and a guidebook to help you make your home more energy efficient. You can use the 'Power Mate' to see exactely how much power your computer or fridge is using. Or use the thermometer to check you're not over-cooling your house and wasting electricity and money.
The Save Power Kits can:
- show you what uses the most power in your home,
- give you ideas and easy steps to save money and power, and
- reduce your impact on our environment
Kits are available to borrow for all library members from Campsie, Earlwood, Lakemba and Riverwood Libraries. Come along to a workshop and find out how to use the kit and talk about low cost, easy ways to beat the heat and reduce your power bill. For dates, see the What's On calendar.
The Save Power Kits are provided by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, through its Save Power Program. For more information, see the Save Power Campaign website.
