Through the development of health programs and services, including our immunisation program, diabetes sharps disposal program and the return unwanted medicines project, we aim to promote a happier, safer and healthier City. We offer and support a number of health services as indicated above.

Skin Penetration Procedures

 

Guidelines on requirements to establish and conduct a

 

Premises conducting skin penetration procedures, including body decoration and grooming businesses, must be approved and registered with Council. These premises will be regularly inspected by Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) to ensure that the premises are maintained in a safe and hygienic condition, and operators conduct procedures safely to minimise risk to the health of their clients.
