Free Unregistered/Abandoned Vehicle Collection Service
Vehicles that do not have current registration must not be kept on Council property (ie. on the nature strip or road).
Owners of unregistered vehicles which are parked on Council property could receive a $220 fine if the vehicle is not removed within 7 days.
If residents have an unregistered vehicle which they no longer want we can take it away for free to be recycled as scrap metal.
Residents simply need to bring a copy of the vehicle's registration papers to our Administration building and the vehicle will be towed away within a few days.
