Our innovative Libraries
You'll be amazed at the range of services and facilities that are on offer at our libraries. With these continually growing to meet the needs of our residents there's something for everyone at our libraries.
Our Central Library is located at Campsie, and we have 3 branches at Earlwood, Lakemba and Riverwood. Our library service has undergone exciting and innovative changes in recent years, reflecting the dynamic environment of today's public libraries. We now have more than 2,700 people through our doors every week day and lending at Campsie is continually increasing.

We aim to provide an excellent service for all members of our community and with the support of Council, have successfully implemented strategies developed through close consultation with our community and our involvement with the network of public libraries across New South Wales.
Along with a large range of top quality books, we offer other services, including homework help, which is provided for all primary school subjects, and English, Math and Science for High School students, DVD's and music CD's, computer access with Internet and word processing facilities, children's games and much more!
We have approximately 140,000 items, comprising of Books, DVDs, CDs, magazines and newspapers. Approximately 800,000 people visit our libraries each year and 2,000 items are borrowed each day. We have over 26,000 items in a number of community languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Korean, Italian, Spanish and Vietnamese.
