INVITATION TO APPLY FOR FUNDING FROM THE 2009 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT EXPENDITURE (CDSE) SCHEME
Last year, licensed clubs in the City of Canterbury, through the CDSE Committee alone allocated in excess of $780,000 of Category 1 funding to local non-profit community groups for projects and services that support local disadvantaged communities.
Community organisations may now apply for funding towards your local community service needs and priorities from the above scheme.

Projects in the following categories may qualify for funding under this program:
- community welfare and social services;
- community development;
- community health services; and
- employment assistance activities.
Funding applications are invited for programs, projects and services assisting people with disabilities, older people, people from non-English speaking backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, women and young people are particularly encouraged.
For information on how to apply for funding and a copy of the application form, phone Christine Karam on 9789 9428.
