Our children's services provide high quality, innovative care and education programs for children and their families.
The focus is on encouraging children's strengths and interests to support their learning and development. We also have strong arts and literacy programs to enhance children learning.
Our children's services are all licensed by the Department of Community Services. We provide a safe, friendly and educational environment for children and provide extra care and attention to new children to ensure they settle comfortably into the service.

- Children's Centres (Long Day Care)

Policy and Planning
Canterbury City Council is committed to the welfare and development of children in our community. We have a long history of both direct and indirect involvement in children's services and programs.
