Community Centres
We operate a number of community centres throughout the City of Canterbury, including the newly built $2.1 million Punchbowl Community Centre.
Through the provision of these centres, including senior citizen centres and the Belmore Youth and Resource Centre, we aim to provide services and activities that appeal to a broad cross-section of the community.
Most centres contain function and meeting rooms, making them the ideal place for a variety of community events, activities and get togethers.
We also provide two venues for hire. These halls are available to people and can cater for many events, including weddings, birthdays, 21st, dinners and dances, conferences, meetings, training courses, film presentations and much more. A number of facilities are provided, including a kitchen with stove, fridge and washing up facilities.
We have 3 community centres that run social gatherings and group activities. It's a great way to meet new people.
