Youth X Festival & Youth Week
Youth X Festival
The annual Youth X Festival continues to be our premiere youth event in the City of Canterbury. The festival has grown into a professional and thrilling event allowing young people to celebrate in a safe and fun environment.
One of our main aims is to promote a positive image of young people whilst encouraging them to participate and enjoy themselves as a united community.
Young people often tell is they want opportunities to celebrate in their own way, with entertainment that is chosen by them for them.
- An opportunity to perform in front of a young crowd
- Head line acts and quality entertainment, including:
- workshops
- amusement rides
- sports
- games
- Stalls to buy and sell products and/or educate the young community on issues that they believe are valuable to them
- A chance to promote cultural diversity in our community.
In 2010, the Youth X Festival moved to Belmore Sports Ground, ensuring the event will be bigger and better than ever!
