Public Transport
The City of Canterbury has an amazing array of retail outlets and a wonderful variety of great quality authentic restaurants. There's plenty to do and see including social, recreational and cultural activities.
This compilation of useful public transport resources makes it easier for you to get around our City and encourage public transport use.
The City is well-served by the CityRail Network and has both State Transit and private bus services linking one end of the city with the other. This page highlights the many options that exist for getting around safely and easily, with details of how to get where you want to go.
Whether you want to visit our major regional shopping centre at Roselands, travel to the races at Canterbury Park Racecourse, enjoy some of Sydney's best Korean food in Campsie, or journey for a picnic along the Cooks River, our new guide can help you find your way.
The City of Canterbury is working to improve public transport use for all residents, and every year we invest in new bus shelters and courtesy bus seating. Our aim is to make travelling around our City safer and even more enjoyable.
It's all part of our commitment to make our City a Great Place to Live and Work!
